Job summary

Convergint is hiring a full-time Electrical Installer to join our Colorado team. You will install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm and life-safety systems and building automation with minimal supervision, while providing top-tier service to customers and colleagues.

You will interpret manuals and wiring diagrams, collaborate with project teams, and advance through our trade program while upholding safety and Convergint Quality Standards on every onsite project.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 3-5 years in electronic security industry.
• Previous construction experience including some level of electrical or a low voltage background.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repairs, and service a variety of systems and equipment including security, fire alarm and life safety.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams; repair equipment using test instruments and hand tools.
• Provide basic installation assistance as directed by the project lead.
• Maintain safety, quality and performance per Convergint standards on all onsite work.
