Convergint is seeking an Electrical Installer in Fort Worth, TX to join our culture of service and growth. You will be part of a team delivering fire, security and building automation projects, leading installation, startup, and customer training.

The role emphasizes working from blueprints, using a variety of tools, and mentoring junior installers. Strong electrical and mechanical skills, math aptitude, and customer focus are required.

Qualifications

• Proficient construction skills and understanding of system plans.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and design drawings.
• Familiar with blueprints, schematics, manuals to determine installation procedures.
• Excellent customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude; able to read drawings and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installing, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on assigned Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects.
• Delivers assigned projects effectively and within budgeted cost and time schedules with minimal guidance.
• Supervises other Installers.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
