Job summary

Capital Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled Residential and Light Commercial Electrical Installer to join our family-owned Birmingham-area team. The role covers electrical installations for homes and light commercial projects, plus installation of standby generator systems and transfer switches.

You will work with a collaborative team Monday–Friday, 40–45 hours weekly, delivering high-quality results and outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Electrical or audio/video experience preferred, but not required.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Hand tools, gauges, meters and testing instruments.

Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial electrical.
• Perform electrical installation of residential standby generator systems.
• Install and wire automatic transfer switches, disconnects, breakers, and load management modules.
• Collaborate with team members to complete complex projects and exceed customer expectations.
• Coordinate generator placement and electrical routing with other team members.
• Provide exceptional customer service, building trust and loyalty with every interaction.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest industry advancements and technologies.
• Monday through Friday, averaging 40 to 45 hours per week.
