Job summary

Strada Services seeks an electrician installer/apprentice to install electrical rough and finish systems in new home developments in Port St Lucie, FL. You will follow NEC codes and safety standards while installing wiring, conduits, panels, and fixtures.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, wiring, testing, and inspecting systems, using hand and power tools, and complying with local regulations. A valid license and toolbox are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electrician’s license preferred.
• Must have at least 2 years of fast-paced residential electrical new construction experience.
• Must be able to install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to local and NEC codes.
• Must possess own hand tools and power tools to execute electrical jobs.
• A Valid Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Report.

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, and blueprints, to identify proper wire placement.
• Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.
• Replaces circuit breakers as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

Education and Experience:

• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
• Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
