Job summary

Strada Services in Daphne, AL is seeking a skilled DL Installers & Apprentices to install electrical rough and finish systems in new home developments, following NEC codes. You will read blueprints, install wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, and fixtures, test systems, and ensure safe, compliant electrical installations in residential construction.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, an apprenticeship, and at least 2 years of residential experience; valid tools and driver's license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electrician’s license preferred.
• Must have at least 2 years of fast-paced residential electrical new construction experience.
• Must be able to install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to local and NEC codes.
• Must possess own hand tools and power tools.
• A Valid Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsibilities

• Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential new construction homes.
• Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.
• Ensures piping complies with electrical codes.
• Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
• Connects electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building.
• Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
• Inspects electrical components to ensure safety, and correct installation.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, and blueprints, to identify proper wire placement.
• Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.
• Replaces circuit breakers as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Duties/Responsibilities

Education and Experience

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
