Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Electrical Installation Lead for Low Voltage Devices & Controls to drive installation, configuration, and validation of field devices across multiple fulfillment center sites in North America. You will lead field crews, coordinate with controls teams, and ensure readiness for commissioning and energization of MHE systems.

The role requires deep experience with low-voltage control systems, fieldbus networks, and device testing, along with strong leadership and documentation

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial electrical installation or controls deployment.
• Experience supervising electrical device installation crews and field execution teams.
• Ability to read device layout drawings, wiring diagrams, and I/O lists.
• Experience with low-voltage 24VDC circuits, sensors, VFDs, and fieldbus networks.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically, with some roles exceeding 50% on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical installation crews focused on low-voltage device installation for MHE systems across North American facilities.
• Direct installation and wiring of field devices such as sensors, E-stop devices, and scanners.
• Oversee VFD installation, power connections, and control wiring.
• Manage I/O block installation, wiring, and terminal connections per diagrams.
• Coordinate zone controllers, actuators, and operator stations installations.
• Ensure E-stop cable systems, wiring, and label accuracy meet standards.
• Coordinate with controls commissioning for energization readiness.
• Maintain field documentation, punch lists, and turnover records.
