Job summary

Hiller seeks an experienced electrical service technician to install, upgrade, and repair electrical components at customer sites, including homes and businesses. You will collaborate with dispatch and customers to outline timelines, present options, and complete jobs safely and efficiently.

The role emphasizes strict adherence to OSHA standards, PPE use, and on-call availability. You will travel to sites, coordinate with utilities, and maintain equipment and records.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• A valid drivere2e2s license and approval to drive by the company2e2s insurance carrier.
• Willing to work outside normal hours and on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or upgrade a wide variety of electrical components (generators, rewires, additions, services, panels, etc.) in a safe, efficient manner.
• Provide electrical service/repair to homes, apartments, and businesses, including presenting options and collecting for jobs.
• Communicate with Dispatch, Supervisors, and Customers about timeframes and change orders.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, protecting property and coworkers.
• Coordinate with utility providers and local code officials to ensure guidelines are followed.
• Transport materials and tools to job sites and maintain inventory.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and use appropriate PPE at all times.
• Keep truck clean and stocked; perform other duties as assigned.
