Job summary

Sunset Heating, Cooling, & Plumbing seeks a motivated Residential Electrician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems in homeowners' properties in the Portland area.

With over 2 years of residential electrical experience, you will diagnose issues, read blueprints, and ensure code-compliant installations while delivering outstanding customer service and working with uncapped earning potential of $100,000–$120,000+ annually.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential electrical experience.
• Electrical sales experience is a strong plus.
• Customer-first mindset with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift equipment and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, panels, and related components.
• Diagnose electrical issues and provide safe, effective solutions that meet code requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical codes, and specifications to ensure accurate and compliant installations.
• Perform service calls and emergency repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.
• Accurately document work performed using ServiceTitan software.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and solutions clearly with homeowners.
• Recommend products and services that improve electrical performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
