Base pay range

$45.00/hr - $50.00/hr

ERSG is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector with a strong background in electrical quality control and solar installation to support operations at a utility-scale solar project in Oregon. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of solar electrical systems and will be responsible for conducting inspections, walk-downs, and quality checks on installed panels and electrical wiring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed inspections of installed solar panels, inverters, combiner boxes, and associated wiring.
• Conduct walk-downs and create punch lists to ensure compliance with project specifications and electrical codes.
• Verify electrical installations align with single-line diagrams, NEC requirements, and site-specific standards.
• Identify and document quality control issues and coordinate with site teams to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and organized inspection records and reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and QA/QC personnel to maintain high-quality installation standards.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed throughout inspection and reporting processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical inspection, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PV arrays, combiner boxes, inverters, and grounding.
• Familiarity with NEC standards and solar industry best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to document findings accurately.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work in field conditions on an active construction site.

Schedule: Monthly rotation with up to $500 expense reimbursement

Compensation:

Hourly DOE + Overtime (1.5 rate)
