Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Inspector with a background in construction to ensure that electrical systems and components meet regulatory requirements and industry standards in construction projects The ideal candidate will conduct inspections on both new and existing electrical installations review construction plans and perform tests to uphold safety and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems wiring equipment and fixtures in construction projects to ensure compliance with regulations
• Review construction blueprints specifications and work orders to determine necessary procedures for electrical installations
• Test electrical systems for functionality safety and quality assurance
• Identify any violations of regulations and recommend appropriate corrective actions to maintain compliance in construction projects
• Maintain detailed documentation of inspection findings and keep accurate records of all inspections conducted
• Collaborate with contractors engineers and other stakeholders to communicate inspection results and coordinate necessary corrections
• Stay up to date on the latest electrical codes regulations and industry standards relevant to construction projects

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is a plus
• Certification as a Licensed Electrician or Electrical Inspector
• 6 years proven work experience as an Electrical Inspector with a background in construction
