RigUp, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Inspector for oil and gas project sites in Carlsbad, NM. You will ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance of electrical systems on pipeline and facility construction, reviewing plans and performing on-site inspections.

You will collect data, document findings, interpret blueprints, monitor ongoing work for public works regulatory standards, and collaborate with project teams to promote safe, compliant operations.

Compensation package: Pay rates depend on specific client and will be discussed via phone but it includes daily per diem, equipment and communications pay, hourly rate, and mileage.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Review construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to verify compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Perform quality control checks during various phases of construction to identify potential issues early and recommend corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze data from site inspections, documenting findings accurately in reports and inspection logs.
• Interpret technical documents such as blueprints and construction plans to assess electrical system installations against design intent.
• Monitor ongoing construction activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards for public works projects within the oil and gas sector.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and safety teams to uphold construction regulatory compliance and promote a culture of safety.
