Job summary

PCL Industrial Services, Inc. seeks an Electrical Industrial Project Coordinator to lead electrical design and installation on industrial projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams from concept to completion.

This role expects proactive problem-solving and tight coordination to meet safety, quality, and schedule objectives. Based in multiple TX/AZ locations, the position emphasizes collaboration with field teams, design partners and suppliers to deliver reliable power systems that

Qualifications

• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Intermediate planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to administer subcontracts and contract documents.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and internal systems (Baseplate).
• Ability to create and schedule projects valued between $1.5M and $3M.

Responsibilities

• Performs quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage contract progress and reporting.
• Review trade contractor work and provide day-to-day direction per project schedule.
• Maintain contract with subcontractors and manage subcontract administration.
• Review drawings with designers/engineers and suggest methods or materials.
• Support design team for submittal schedule and commissioning as needed.
• Assist project manager in monitoring overall project performance (HSE, cost, schedule, quality).
• Assist with change management and cost/schedule impact assessments.
• Support site inspections and ensure AHJ/ code compliance.
• Review subcontractors’ submittals for scope and coordination.
• Maintain project document control and RFIs/submittals as-built drawings.
