Job summary

Western Midstream is seeking a West Texas Midstream Operations team member for our Delaware Basin Operations in Orla, TX. The role combines expertise in electrical systems, instrumentation & controls, and high voltage/substation operations to support safe, reliable plant performance.

Responsibilities include maintaining PLC/DCS/SCADA platforms, coordinating maintenance with cross-functional teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of gas processing plant experience.
• Experience with electrical and control systems troubleshooting.
• SAP familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties to sustain operations and regulatory compliance.
• Promote safety for self and teammates through adherence to procedures.
• Coordinate with plant supervision, engineering, operations, I&E, and contractors.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems and related equipment.
• Provide data for preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
