Job summary

Mariana Minerals seeks a skilled Controls Technician to support our East Texas refinery, ensuring safe and reliable operation of electrical and control systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade wiring and programming for 480V three-phase and single-phase circuits, transformers, and MCCs, while documenting work in CMMS and supporting PM planning.

Qualifications

3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience focused on controls and electronics.
Proficiency with Allen Bradley controls equipment and HMIs.
Ability to own controls projects from start to finish.
Experience with 480V three-phase and single-phase circuits and power distribution.
Ability to read one-line diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and controls issues across industrial equipment and processes, using system knowledge and the right instruments.
Install, test, and maintain electrical equipment, including MCCs, switchgear, transformers, and load centers, from blueprints and diagrams.
Maintain, program, and upgrade control systems, including Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial networks.
Perform preventive maintenance and PM planning; log work in CMMS.
Execute the maintenance schedule and log asset history.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance staff to improve planning and safety.
Follow all safety procedures and electrical codes; keep shop safe and organized.
