Job summary

Western Midstream in Pecos, TX, seeks a maintenance specialist for Delaware Basin Operations. You will perform maintenance, operate/monitor gas processing equipment, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires troubleshooting, electrical knowledge, and experience with PLC/DCS systems and plant drawings, with on-call and shift duties as part of operations. You will collaborate with supervision, engineering, operations, I&E, and contractors to optimize throughput and minimize downtime,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of gas processing plant experience preferred.
• Troubleshoot control systems and perform repairs on electronic equipment.
• Computer skills: Word and Excel; SAP experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Familiarity with P&ID, Equipment Arrangement, Area Classification, Piping Isometrics.
• Experience with natural gas engines and compressors.
• Experience with gas processing equipment including pumps, fans and filters.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties to maintain operations and regulatory compliance.
• Promote a safe work environment and follow WES Core Values.
• Coordinate with plant supervision, engineering and operations teams.
• Maintain PLC, DCS and SCADA systems (Allen Bradley, DeltaV).
• Inspect and repair motors, pumps, switches and related equipment.
• Supervise contract operations as required for maintenance.
• Coordinate work with plant and field to optimize throughput.
• Stay updated on daily operations and hazards with EHS.
• Ensure data is accurately entered in maintenance programs and schematics.
