A leading engineering firm in Huntsville, AL, is seeking an experienced Electrical & I&C Design Engineer for a contract role. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD design tools and have experience in industrial controls systems design. Qualifications

• Must have a strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and design principles.
• Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards is essential.
• Preferred experience designing Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical and instrumentation and controls (I&C) drawings.
• Develop detailed schematics for electrical power and industrial control systems.
• Manage and schedule assigned work in support of multiple projects.

Education
