Job summary

SPATCO is seeking an Electrical Helper in Florida to join a field team on construction projects. You will work with peers, assist in wiring and equipment installation, and participate in our in-house training programs to advance in the electrical industry.

The role requires 2–3 years of apprentice experience, knowledge of electrical codes, and the ability to lift heavy loads. Travel may be required and teamwork is essential for meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years as an electrical apprentice; journeyman card not needed.
• Knowledge of electrician standards & codes required.
• Detail oriented with good communication skills.
• Able to lift 75–100 lbs when needed and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and fixtures in the petroleum industry.
• Install conduits, pull wire and connect to breakers, pumps, dispensers, POS consoles and lighting.
• Inspect electrical systems for safety, codes, and project specifications and verify operation.
• Advise on hazards and safe operation of electrical systems to management and customers.
• Assist estimator with material take-off, cost estimates and labor allowances.
