Overview

Department: Occupational Skills. Provide classroom and lab instruction in Emergency First Aid and CPR procedures, Electrical Safety, Licensing and permits, Introduction of NEC Code, Hand and Power Tools Usage, Residential and Commercial wiring, OSHA-10 regulations, Measurement skills, Basic math calculations related to electrical, Employability Skills. Assist with curriculum development for improvement based on industry needs and changes.

Responsibilities

Provide classroom and lab instruction as described above and support curriculum development to reflect industry needs and changes.

Qualifications

• Certification in Electrical (Journeymen or Master).
• At least three to five (3-5) years of related practical work experience.
• Teaching experience with diverse populations.
• Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with students, faculty, staff, business/industry and the public.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Pay Rate
