Job summary

SPATCO Energy Solutions in Atlanta, GA seeks an Electrical Helper for construction and installations. The role supports assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment in fueling/charging projects. Travel may be required and in-house training is provided.

The position offers exposure to electrical standards and safety, with on-the-job training and teamwork in a growing company serving diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years as an electrical apprentice; no journeyman card required.
• Knowledge of electrician standards & codes.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to lift 75–100 lbs.
• Work outside in all types of weather.
• Able to work under time constraints and with others.
• Follow all company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and fixtures for petroleum projects.
• Install conduits, pull wire and connect to circuit breakers, pumps, dispensers, POS consoles, tank monitors and lighting.
• Inspect electrical systems to verify safety, codes and proper operation.
• Advise management and customers when hazards exist or when safe to operate.
• Assist estimator with material take-off, cost and labor allowances.
