IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper in Williamsburg, Virginia. The role supports commercial electricians with material handling, mounting conduits, wiring, and assisting with wire pulls, under supervision.

The candidate will work from ladders, follow safety policies, and may travel as required. A minimum of 6 months electrical experience, a high school diploma, OSHA 10 (or readiness to obtain), and background/MVR checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months recent electrical experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Pre-employment background check and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
