Job summary

TSI Incorporated offers an Electrical/Hardware Engineering Summer Internship in Minnesota. You will work directly with seasoned engineers on real projects, gaining hands-on experience in circuit design, embedded systems, and test development.

You'll learn to use oscilloscope techniques, schematic capture tools, PCB layouts, and MCU development with NXP and ST-Micro devices. This role provides practical exposure to EMI, safety, and wireless compliance considerations.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree with coursework in circuits, signals, and hardware design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work on real project tasks under supervision and guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineers on tasks supporting new product development and sustaining engineering.
  • Develop understanding of product sustaining and development environments and apply classroom skills.
  • Engage with technology to develop test and measurement instruments across industries.
  • Gain experience with tools used for electronic design, including simulation software and firmware work.
  • Experience exposure to design for electromagnetic, safety, and wireless compliance considerations.
