Job summary

Amazon Leo Government (ALG) Engineering is seeking an Electrical GSE Engineer for the ALG Integrated Systems Solutions team in Northridge, CA. You will architect and assemble test racks, interface UUT with instrumentation, and develop automated test equipment for PCBAs and full systems.

The role requires 5+ years in hardware development, a Bachelor's in electrical engineering, strong collaboration with hardware and software teams, and the ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance or hands-on engineering environment experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well with teams of hardware and software engineers.

Responsibilities

• Test Infrastructure & Rack Integration: architect and assemble test racks with PXIe chassis, power supplies, and switching matrices.
• Validation & Hardware Analysis: develop automated test equipment and fixtures for PCBA and full-system validation.
• Communications & Governance: configure instrument buses and author SOPs and test reports.
