Job summary

Amazon Leo Government (ALG) Engineering is hiring a hardware engineer to help design and validate test infrastructure for space hardware.

You will build test racks, develop automated test equipment, and verify signal integrity while coordinating with instrument buses and documenting SOPs.

U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance are required; this is an on-site role in Northridge, CA, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with teams of hardware and software engineers

Responsibilities

• Test infrastructure development and rack integration for PXIe-based systems.
• Design and assemble test racks with PXIe chassis and EMI shielding.
• Develop automated test equipment (ATE) for PCBA and full-system validation.
• Characterize performance and signal integrity using oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• Configure instrument communications (GPIB, LAN, PXIe) and document SOPs.
• Support security clearance requirements and compliance.
