Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to provide daily electrical upkeep for campus buildings and grounds. The role includes installation of circuits, servicing electrical equipment, and assisting with general maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Applicants should have 2–5 years of related experience and a two-year degree or equivalent training. Ability to lift 100 pounds, work in extreme conditions, and participate in on-call rotations is required.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of similar or related experience.
• Two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course or in-house training.
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, lift up to 100 pounds, and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily electrical maintenance of buildings and repair electrical distribution equipment, lighting, outlets, and appliances; install circuits and new appliances.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks, set up for events, and perform building checks during holidays; respond to on-call duties.
• Maintain, repair, and install communication equipment including telephone and data lines.
• Engage in required trainings and support special tasks or events as needed.
