Job summary

CPS Energy seeks a Residential North Design Coordinator to coordinate with internal teams and external customers for overhead and underground electrical and gas installations, extensions, and system improvements.

The role requires accurate project scheduling, CIAC invoicing, and applying CPS Energy standards. You will educate customers on steps to move projects forward, manage design interdependencies, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet goals with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the public and staff.
• Initiative to work independently or as a team.
• Work in field, office, and construction centers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Prioritize, organize work, and manage exceptions.
• Build relationships with customers and support teams.
• Customer invoicing experience.
• Valid Texas Driver's License and field site visits.
• Willing to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and prepare sites for construction.
• Create sketches and maps in line with CPS Energy standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for installations and extensions.
• Estimate time and resources to meet project milestones.
• Provide design solutions that comply with CPSE requirements.
