Cummings Electrical is seeking a Traveling Project Foreman with 5+ years of electrical construction experience for commercial and industrial projects. The role oversees scheduling, on-site safety, and daily execution, coordinating with clients and other trades.

Travel to project sites across DFW, North Texas and Houston is required. The ideal candidate will have a Journeyman license, strong NEC knowledge, and experience leading crews of 10+ electricians, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Journeyman license required.
• 5+ years electrical construction experience leading large industrial/commercial projects.
• Ability to oversee a crew of 10+ electricians.
• Proficient with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Willingness to travel to DFW/North TX/Houston as needed.

Responsibilities

• Train, manage and evaluate project team.
• Assist Strategic Account Manager to prepare construction schedules.
• Create and maintain schedules for resource and material usage.
• Plan and coordinate material and logistical needs of a project.
• Prepare daily reports, timesheets, safety and incident reports.
• Coordinate with client and other trades to resolve conflicts.
• Track production to meet labor goals.
• Direct production per contracted scope of work.
• Oversee QA/QC programs.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely material delivery.
• Ensure installations meet quality and code standards.
• Build partnerships with clients for continued work.
• Create and record layout drawings and as-builts.

Traveling Project Foreman Needed! ($2,500 Sign on Bonus!)

Journeyman License Required

We are currently seeking Electrical Project Foreman with 5+ years’ experience for projects involving commercial/industrial electrical construction. Electrical Project Foreman are an integral part of the electrical construction process and are responsible for scheduling, monitoring, and controlling the day-to-day execution of the work, progress, and performance of the project. The role is also responsible for the administration and control of all aspects of the Cummings site specific safety and compliance objectives.

Responsibilities

• Train, manage and evaluate project team
• Ability to assist Strategic Account Manager to prepare construction schedules
• Create, influence, and maintain schedules for proper resource utilization and material usage
• Can plan and coordinate material and logistical needs of a project efficiently
• Create & maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety and incident reports
• Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the client to identify and resolve any conflicts
• Can effectively track production to meet/beat labor goals
• Plan, organize, and direct production in accordance with the contracted scope of work
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs
• Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure that requested material is expedited and received as needed for the construction of a project
• Ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards
• Ability to build and grow partnerships with clients for continued work
• Can build/design effective layout drawings and record drawings
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time during scheduled shifts
• Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required by job duties

Qualifications

• Active Journeyman’s License required
• Must maintain and enforce safety policies on jobsite
• 5+ years of electrical construction experience which includes leading large jobs in Industrial/Commercial industry
• Can oversee a crew of 10+ electricians
• Ability to manage/oversee multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient with the National Electrical Code
• Exposure to Bluebeam and/or Salesforce is a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including excel and familiarity with MS Teams and SharePoint
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills required
• Must be able to work at project jobsites throughout the DFW/North Texas/Houston as needed
• Willingness to travel outside of DFW/North TX/Houston area a plus
• Must have active driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle report
