Abacus Corporation in Aberdeen, MD seeks an Electrical Foreman for commercial projects. Lead on-site electrical operations, coordinate with the Project Manager, and ensure schedules, quality, and safety protocols are met. Strong leadership and blueprints literacy are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman's License.
• Minimum of 2 years as a journeyman with proven electrical-installation experience.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics and installation manuals.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills with teamwork focus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient with project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site electrical operations and coordinate with the Project Manager.
• Develop and adjust work timelines to meet project schedules.
• Collaborate with project management, prefabrication and design teams.
• Organize materials, equipment, and manpower.
• Conduct quality control and ensure safety, plans and codes compliance.
• Train, mentor and provide feedback to field crew members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of work and materials.
