Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Ability to work with a crew and supervise trainees.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with electrical applications for high/low voltage systems.
• Experience with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, generators, lights, circuits, wiring and other electrical system equipment.
• Operates electrical testing equipment to locate malfunctions.
• Studies plans and specifications to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs or installations.
• Repairs and maintains high voltage systems.
• Trains and supervises apprentices.
• Troubleshoots and repairs emergency generators and power distribution systems.
