Job summary

PMEP is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead electrical crews on active construction projects in the Greater New Orleans region. You will interpret plans, coordinate with other trades, monitor progress, and ensure installations meet NEC codes and project requirements, while promoting safety and quality across the team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading electrical crews on commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and coordinate daily activities of electricians and electrical crews.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components; ensure quality workmanship.
• Enforce safety practices and NEC/code compliance on site; identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate electrical work with project leadership, subcontractors, and other trades; track progress and material needs.
