Job summary

Amteck in Atlanta, GA is hiring an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project. The Foreman Electrician will oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians, leading on-site installation, troubleshooting and coordination with site supervision.

Candidates should have 7–10 years in electrical construction, strong leadership, ability to read blueprints and schematics, and experience with NEC guidelines. Proficiency with BlueBeam/Navisworks is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach teams of roughly five crew members.
• Reading and understanding project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on site and ensure quality of work.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team and coordinate with supervision.
• Create material lists from layouts and job-site demands.
• Help achieve production and budget goals and communicate needs to the team.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Read project drawings, underground layouts, and determine sizing for wires and conduits.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and conductors; demonstrate circuitry knowledge.
• Adhere to safety policies and work with others to maintain a safe site.
