Job summary

Feyen Zylstra in Traverse City, MI is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead onsite electrical installations in commercial and industrial settings. As a project leader, you will supervise crews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality maintenance while prioritizing safety.

You will bring 3+ years of supervisory experience, strong knowledge of NEC and blueprints, and travel regionally as needed. We offer benefits, PTO, and growth opportunities within a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous Electrician experience and proficient in the installation of complex electrical systems.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience and leading crews.
• Knowledge of building construction methods, NEC electrical code, permit requirements, and safety procedures.
• Competence in reading and following blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
• Experience with Bluebeam.
• Ability to travel regionally to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Onsite project leader supervising electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate crews and resources, monitor progress, and communicate with stakeholders.
