Job summary

Rogers Electric in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled Service Foreman to lead field crews on commercial electrical projects. You will plan, staff, review bid documents, and ensure scope and safety standards are met on site.

You’ll supervise electricians, manage daily operations, track hours and materials, and coordinate with project management to deliver quality results on time. Willingness to travel 90% and work nights/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience as a commercial electrician.
• 3+ years as a Foreman overseeing large electrical projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to deadlines.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word for reports.
• Willing to travel 90% and work nights/weekends.
• Leads safety meetings and PPE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Manager with planning, organization, and staffing.
• Analyzes bid documents and site conditions to outline scope.
• Identifies risks to cover related costs.
• Establishes objectives and standards per contract documents.
• Manages electricians and assigns daily tasks.
• Tracks crew hours, materials, scheduling, and reporting.
• Leads safety meetings and PPE compliance.
• Runs conduit/wire and terminates devices.
• Performs quality control testing.
• Conducts pre-bid surveys and turnover activities.
