Job summary

Saulsbury Industries seeks an Electrical Foreman to coordinate craft crews on the Mentone, TX site, directing construction and maintenance tasks to meet safety and cost targets. You will report progress, plan materials, and enforce safety policies while ensuring quality and on‑time completion.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years installing conduit and electrical systems up to 25kV, with OSHA10 and related safety training.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in installing conduit, cable tray, electrical buildings with gear 120‑25kV, and cable pulls/terminations for instrumentation, 600V to 25kV.
• Minimum three years of experience as an Industrial Electrical Foreman (Leadsman requires one year).
• Ability to report daily crew progress and plan materials for upcoming tasks.
• Valid safety training: Saulsbury Industries safety training education, Supervisors Safety Training OSHA10.
• Pass required drug test in compliance with Saulsbury Industries and Department of Transportation anti‑drug program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily reports, maintain records, files, and inventory of material associated with assigned work.
• Recommend promotion/demotion of subordinates and identify training needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

General Information / Job Summary

Works under the direction of the General Foreman and/or Superintendent, supervising and directing the work of a group of craft or trade engaged in various tasks; performs other related duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain broad working knowledge of assigned craft (scaffolding, insulation, carpentry, pipefitting, equipment operation/rigging, instrument/electrical, welding) and demonstrate above‑average knowledge and extensive personal experience in the trade.
• Enforce safety policies, promote safety awareness, and keep supervisors informed of progress and problems.
• Develop effective work plans, give assignments/instructions, and supervise work activity of crews.

Safety Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Climb 30‑foot ladders without resting.
• Maintain balance on catwalks and narrow workspaces.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Reach above head while standing or sitting, and reach below knees while standing.
• Perform work up to and over 50 hours per week.
• Possess finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, depth perception, and far visual acuity for small detail.
