Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreman with a strong electrical background to oversee the daily operations of our assigned projects. Responsibilities
  • Safety - Including but not limited to enforcing safety protocols, conducting safety meetings, inspecting worksite conditions, job hazard analysis, ensure Pre-Task Plan (PTP) are developed for all scopes within span of control, incident reporting, safety equipment monitoring.
  • Team Management - Motivate, evaluate, discipline, instruct and coach electrical crews of 7-10 to ensure smooth project execution, compliance with safety standards, and high-quality work.
  • Project Planning, Scheduling, and Execution - Understanding project scope, ensure all activities for assigned scope are represented on the project schedule. Effective task sequencing and scheduling, material, tools, and equipment identification and planning, manpower/resource allocation. Anticipate constraints and vigorously work to eliminate them.
  • Quality Control - Ensuring all processes, systems, and procedures are in place to guarantee that quality standards are met throughout the project, ensuring they meet design specifications, operate safely, and function efficiently before being handed over for full operation.
  • Production tracking - Monitoring and documenting construction progress against the schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Prefabrication Coordination - Efficient planning, communication, utilization of technology, site preparation, and coordination of "Kits" from the shop to the jobsite.
  • Model (BIM) Coordination - Integrating and collaborating with different stakeholders using shared digital models to manage and optimize the design and construction of the project.
  • Documentation and Reporting - Utilizing all the appropriate systems and processes in-house to document and report out on all progress, delays, incidents, and communications.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of Electrical Commercial and/or Industrial experience.
  • Working knowledge of construction, electrical work/systems, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings/models electronically, using mobile devices is strongly recommended
  • Effective communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes.
  • Proficient knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Education
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Safety Level

This is a safety sensitive position, and all applicable policies including drug test and background check will apply.

  • The inherent responsibilities of your role may include physical working conditions. In order to safely and successfully perform job duties you must be able to:
    • Potentially lift up to 50 pounds
    • Potentially need to do repeated pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching (or working above shoulder), walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing
    • Potentially operate a motor vehicle, crane, tractor, etc.
