Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to work in our Mid-Atlantic region (VA/DC/MD).

Summary

This position will lead our electrical support work in our Mid-Atlantic region. This position will schedule and perform a variety of electrical work, schedule a team of technicians, estimating, and requires a candidate strongly versed in the heavy industrial/commercial electrical trade as well as electrical equipment. Projects to include temporary jobsite electrical services, maintenance of existing services, set up and maintenance of security systems, and marine and land-based electrical systems on various equipment including dredge barges, boats, generators, weld machines and pumps.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• AC and DC voltage distribution and controls and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Ability to lead and schedule crew of electricians
• Ability to assist in estimating
• Pipe bending and layout
• National Electric Code
• Basic knowledge of motor controls.
• Security system installs and troubleshooting
• Communication system installs, setup and maintenance
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Good work ethic and the ability to work through problems with the end in mind.
• Good communication skills and ability to work alone or in a group.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Ability to be flexible and learn new systems, applying what you already know.

• CDL license preferred but not required; Valid driver's license required

• Day shift Monday through Friday with evenings, nights and weekend work required at times.
• Journeyman or Maryland State Electrical License preferred.
• Ability to use laptop/tablet/iPad

Education and Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in the electrical trade or equivalent
• 5 years of experience or more preferred
• Valid driver's license

Expected base pay range for this positions is: $41.00/hr - $52.00/hr

This is an hourly non-exempt position - overtime pay possible.

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Kokosing at the time of the posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
