About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Foreman to lead electrical crews on industrial construction, maintenance, and installation projects throughout California. This role combines hands‑on electrical work with crew leadership responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong industrial electrical experience, as well as experience leading crews in the field, and the ability to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems ranging from low-voltage controls to 480V industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise electrical crews on industrial projects.
Plan daily work activities and coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment.
Install and oversee conduit systems including EMT, PVC-coated (Ocal), stainless steel, and rigid conduit.
Perform conduit bending, layout, and routing according to project specifications.
Pull, terminate, and troubleshoot power and control wiring.
Install and support controls, instrumentation, and automation systems.
Work with 24V, 120V, and 480V electrical systems.
Install, troubleshoot, and commission switchgear, MCCs, distribution panels, and power distribution equipment.
Install and route cable tray systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and construction drawings.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments.
Ensure compliance with NEC requirements, customer specifications, and site safety standards.
Conduct jobsite safety meetings and maintain a strong safety culture.
Coordinate with project managers, customers, and field personnel to ensure project success.
Travel throughout California as required.
Work overtime as needed to meet project schedules.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical experience.
Previous experience leading crews as a Foreman, Lead Electrician, or Supervisor.
Strong experience working with industrial electrical systems.
Proficiency running conduit from ½" to 2" utilizing EMT, PVC-coated (Ocal), stainless steel, and rigid conduit.
Experience with controls, automation, and electrical terminations.
Experience pulling wire and installing industrial electrical equipment.
Knowledge of switchgear, MCCs, PDPs, and distribution systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics.
Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems.
Experience operating man lifts and working at heights.
Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout California.
Preferred Qualifications
Industrial construction experience.
Instrumentation and controls experience.
Experience managing multiple projects or crews simultaneously.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
Knowledge of VFDs, PLC systems, and automation controls.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
