Job summary

McClure Engineering is seeking a Technician to work on a wide range of projects involving complex buildings. The role involves coordinating with engineers, contractors, and other disciplines on active construction sites and performing electrical installation checkout and quality control.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of construction experience, familiarity with electrical systems, and proficiency in MS Office. The position offers a hybrid work option and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ construction experience with preference in electrical.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems required.
• Familiar with commercial construction systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office and on-site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Document electrical system installations for accuracy.
• Inspect installations and components per design and specs.
• Complete punch lists for quality control of electrical elements.
• Photograph and document incorrect installations for review.
• Communicate with on-site staff about problematic installs.
• Coordinate with internal and external project members.
• Possess a basic understanding of NEC and practices.
• Maintain a strong attention to detail.
