Job summary

POWERX in Ashburn, GA is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and measurements, set up test equipment, and collect data with limited supervision.

You will work under guidance of senior technicians, travel as needed, maintain safety standards, and contribute to detailed reports. POWERX offers a full benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• NETA certification level 2 preferred.
• 2+ years of electrical testing/field experience.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70‑E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED, Power DB training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test de-energized equipment using lockout/tagout.
• Collect and record test data accurately.
• Assist in setting up and removing test equipment; maintain cleanliness and proper handling.
• Write detailed reports on test results and findings; ensure timely submission.
