Job summary

Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, seeks an Outside Sales Representative for the Vincennes, IN region. You will own end-to-end sales of electrical switch gear and lighting, targeting commercial contractors and new accounts. Regularly visit customer sites, promote products, and coordinate with Inside Sales for order fulfilment.

You will build relationships, expand accounts, and maintain ethical, professional conduct while driving growth and gross profit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sales or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of relevant sales experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution market preferred.
• Proven problem analysis and resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Makes regular personal sales calls to new and existing customers.
• Promotes and demonstrates new products and programs.
• Coordinates orders with Inside Sales for entry and fulfilment.
• Manages account base and seeks growth in revenue and margins.
• Drives timely, ethical sales activities and maintains vehicle upkeep.
• Completes expense reports and follows company procedures.
• Collaborates with Sales team for training and support.
• Maintains strong relationships with manufacturer partners.
