Job summary

Power Design is a nationwide electrical contractor where Field Engineers gain hands-on experience on local jobsites under supervision. You will learn the business aspects of running large-scale construction projects and grow quickly within the organization.

With mentoring from a Superintendent and project team, you’ll support project deliverables, coordinate with vendors, and help ensure safety. After training, you will assist on startup, commissioning, and final owner acceptance, using

Qualifications

• College graduate with a construction-related degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving ability and a drive to grow.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Adheres to Power Design core values: integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, growth.

Responsibilities

• Learn electrical installation scopes on decks, rough, trim, and distribution.
• Support project deliverables across all construction phases with accuracy.
• Identify safety hazards and help implement corrections on site.
• Coordinate with team, suppliers, and contractors on schedules and labor.
• Interact with customers and trades, representing Power Design in the field.
• Assist with startup and commissioning through final owner acceptance.
