Are you ready to electrify your future with Leitner-Poma of America, Inc.? We're on the hunt for a highly-skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Field Engineer I to join our innovative team. In this thrilling role, you'll design, develop, test, and maintain cutting-edge electrical systems, equipment, and components that power the world of transportation.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As an Electrical Field Engineer I, you will collaborate with customers and team members to troubleshoot complex electrical systems, researching innovative solutions and commissioning PLCs, HMIs, and AC drives and motors. Your role involves diving into intricate electrical designs, crafting detailed engineering documentation and instructional materials for distribution to clients and team members. Working alongside a dynamic team, you'll engage with clients to develop solutions that push the boundaries of technology, driving innovation in the field.

This is a full-time, exempt position hiring at $60,320.00-$67,329.00 per year based on relevant experience & certifications.

REQUIREMENTS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or computer science engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school.
  • Member of professional practice organization, member of local program or committee.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at heights in excess of 20 feet.
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America.
  • Proficient in the English language.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office.
  • At least 3 years of design experience, including Electrical CAD systems and database management.
  • At least 2 years of experience with integrated automation/information systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Rockwell Software.
  • At least 2 years of experience with DC and/or AC drives and motors.
  • Previous experience with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Arc-Flash (NFPA-70).
