Job summary

Schindler Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide on-site and remote field support for installed elevator systems. You will troubleshoot controllers, drives, sensors, and communications, under supervision, while documenting findings and implementing safe corrective actions.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: ELEC/MECH Engineering, drawing and BOM.
• PREFERRED: Manufacturing process, equipment, routing.
• REQUIRED: Multiple task management and project management.
• REQUIRED: Problem solving skills or lean six sigma.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• SAP knowledge of material management, including design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose elevator systems, focusing on fault isolation and safe operation.
• Support fault isolation on controllers, drives, sensors, and communication networks; document findings.
• Coordinate with mechanics, building stakeholders, and internal teams; provide clear handoffs and reports.
• Execute commissioning, maintenance, and reliability checks; record performance metrics.
• Ensure documentation, QA, and compliance with codes and site safety requirements.
