Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Electrical Field Engineer / Electrical Construction Coordinator for a large-scale Biogas Facility Project in Linden, NJ. This field-based role requires hands-on electrical construction support at an active site and close collaboration with project teams, contractors, and field personnel.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems, field execution, and resolving engineering discrepancies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Provide field support for electrical construction activities on a renewable energy/biogas facility project.
Review conduit sizing, routing, and installation plans.
Manage and maintain cable schedules aligned with docs and field conditions.
Coordinate electrical terminations and verify compliance with design specs.
Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between design and field installations.
Interpret and troubleshoot electrical drawings, specs, and construction docs.
Support installation and commissioning of motors and instrumentation systems.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, engineers, and field crews to maintain progress.
Conduct field inspections to ensure safety and quality standards.
Assist with turnover, punch lists, and closeout activities.
