Job summary

CapstoneONE Search is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer (Electrical) for a global industrial manufacturer in Tennessee. You will be the facility's electrical SME, responsible for electrical infrastructure, capital projects, reliability, and safety compliance in a complex manufacturing environment.

You will lead projects from concept to commissioning, coordinate with operations and contractors, perform load calculations, arc-flash and short-circuit studies, and ensure NEC/NFPA 70E/OSHA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing/facilities with electrical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including 480V three-phase power and switchgear.
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E/OSHA electrical safety standards and practices.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications; experience with AutoCAD/SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical infrastructure and facility improvement projects from concept through commissioning, including scope development and cost estimation.
• Serve as the facility's electrical SME for power distribution systems (480V 3-phase, switchgear, MCCs).
• Oversee design, load calculations, and upgrades, including arc-flash and short-circuit studies.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA; support electrical safety programs and inspections.
• Collaborate with Maintenance/Operations/Engineering to improve reliability and develop preventive/predictive maintenance strategies.
• Maintain accurate engineering drawings, one-line diagrams, specifications, and project documentation.
