Job summary

High Steel Structures, part of The High Companies, is seeking experienced Electrical Maintenance personnel for our 1st-shift operations in Pennsylvania. You will plan and perform electrical and mechanical repairs across fabrication shops and office areas.

We value a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years in industrial maintenance, and demonstrated troubleshooting ability with VFDs, PLCs, and CNC drives. Overtime and weekend work may be required, with a PA driver's license essential.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial/commercial maintenance/electrical preferred.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting desired.
  • Building/facilities maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, roofing, grounds, etc. preferred.
  • Experience with repairs of VFDs, PLCs CNC controls/drives required.
  • Welding equipment and overhead crane experience preferred.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
  • A valid PA driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform electrical and mechanical equipment repairs.
  • Repair buildings and facilities across fabrication shops and offices.
  • Work first shift Mon-Fri, with occasional Saturdays and overtime.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.

We are seeking experienced individuals with a strong background in Electrical Maintenance, for our 1st-shift operations.

First-shift coworkers workMon-Fri, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM, as well as every 5th Saturday morning.

On assignment or following established schedules (including some weekends and holidays), this position will be responsible for planning and performing a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment repairs as well as building repairs on a variety of equipment, services, and structures throughout the fabrication shops and office areas.

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required.
  • 5 or more years of experience in industrial/commercial maintenance/electrical preferred
