Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Senior Facilities Project Leader to guide planning, design, and construction of major capital projects across North America and worldwide. You will partner with business leaders, engineers, and contractors to deliver enterprise-scale facilities programs that support Caterpillar's global strategy.

This role blends project management with electrical engineering leadership, overseeing budgets, schedules, stakeholders, and risk across office, warehouse, and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years of facilities engineering, construction, or project management experience.
• Experience leading mid-to-large capital investment projects.
• Strong planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management capabilities.
• Ability to influence decisions across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, construction, and occupancy for facilities projects.
• Manage multiple projects with budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate external consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Provide engineering guidance for office, warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing facilities.
• Present updates and business cases to leaders.
