Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Austin seeks an Electrical Fabrication Designer to join the factory infrastructure engineering team. You will design and model electrical systems in Revit, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and perform field walks to verify installation against the model.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, knowledge of REVIT MEP is preferred, and a related associate degree or equivalent experience is expected. Competitive full-time position with strong benefits.

• Interface with engineers from multiple disciplines and conduct regular field walks to review installation progress.

As a Electrical Fabrication Designer, you will be part of the factory infrastructure engineering team supporting multi-disciplinary design efforts. The ideal candidate will have a highly organized mindset, a passion for driving multi-disciplinary projects, and an unparalleled ability to consistently perform at a high level which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$95000 - $125000

What's the Job?

• Perform design, drafting, and 3D modeling using Revit for electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and telecomm.
• Use the National Electrical Code to create designs that comply with national codes.
• Interface and collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines, including understanding 3D coordination with those disciplines.
• Create clash-free models with components to LOD400 and perform flythroughs for stakeholders using Revizto.
• Interface with construction trades and perform regular field walks to review installation progress and adherence to the model.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
• Preferred knowledge of REVIT MEP.
• Proficiency with electrical system components, including conduit types, fittings, cable tray, and related elements.

• Experience designing commercial or industrial facilities; Associate Degree in Computerized Drafting or equivalent experience preferred.
