Job summary

Erwin Electric is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support a variety of commercial projects, ranging from $500K to $10M+, including schools, healthcare facilities, auto dealerships, churches, and retail centers. We emphasize modern estimating tools and collaborative work with leadership, vendors, and project teams to win bids.

You'll review plans, perform takeoffs, analyze costs, solicit pricing, and develop competitive bid proposals to drive company growth and project success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Commercial electrical construction experience.
• Experience reviewing plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Perform takeoffs and prepare detailed electrical estimates.
• Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop bid proposals, scope letters, and pricing strategies.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
• Support project turnover by communicating scope and expectations to operations teams.
