Job summary

Erwin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator in the Tampa area who can own the estimating process from start to finish across healthcare, education, commercial, and more.

You will review plans, prepare bids with Accubid, analyze scope and risk, source pricing, develop bid packages, and collaborate with internal teams to win work. Occasional onsite interactions may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Experience with Accubid LiveCount or similar estimating software.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction across project types.
• Ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specs, and drawings to produce accurate estimates.
• Prepare bids using Accubid or similar tools.
• Analyze scope, pricing, and risk for completeness and accuracy.
• Source and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop clear bid packages with inclusions and exclusions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to finalize and deliver winning bids.
• Assist in project handoff by communicating scope and expectations.
