Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking an Electrical Estimator / Sales Representative in Missouri to transition from the field into an estimator and sales-focused role. You will pursue opportunities involving fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems.

Work closely with customers, estimators, designers and operations teams to translate field conditions into practical, code-compliant solutions that can be sold and installed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fire protection or life-safety system design experience.
• NICET Level II certification or higher.
• Strong knowledge of fire and building codes and NFPA requirements.
• Ability to read construction plans and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, and customer education.
• Conduct site surveys, review plans and specifications, and lead technical discovery.
• Develop system concepts, estimates, proposals, and scope narratives.
• Prepare or coordinate layouts, shop drawings, submittals, battery calculations, and voltage-drop calculations.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, architects, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), and construction trades.
• Identify scope changes and support change-order development.
• Manage follow-up activities and maintain visibility into the sales pipeline and forecast.
• Remain engaged from opportunity development through project handoff and coordination.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are practical, properly scoped, and aligned with project requirements.
